CNC Turner – Setter/Operator

Gloucester – Evening Shift- Permanent – Fulltime – Up to £38,000 + Monthly Bonus

Due to growth, my client is adding a second shift and is looking for a skilled machinist to join the team. Working in a sub-contract environment, utilising a variety of materials, supervisory skills are also desirable.

The role:

·        Machining complex parts on multiple machines in a sub-contract environment.

·        Haas machinery – variety.

·        Working with a variety of materials – Steel, Aluminium, PEEK, Super duplex

·        Variety of industries including but not limited too – Aerospace, automotive and MOD

The Person:

·        Motivated, organised, experienced CNC machinist – (5 years preferred)

·        Experience using Haas Lathes with live tooling

·        Able to read and understand G codes and M codes.

·        Experience using CAM software.

·        Good understanding of feeds and speeds.

·        Able to read engineering drawings

·        Able to deburr competently.

·        Worked in subcontract environment.

·        Experience using XYZ Lathes – Desirable

·        Apprentice/College graduate - Desirable
