Position Overview:

Job Title: School Catering Assistant

Location: Bishops Stortford

Type: Temporary - sickness and holiday cover

Shift: between Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: from £11.44 per hour + holiday accrual paid weekly

Start Date: Immediate

As a School Catering Assistant, you'll play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals and creating a positive dining experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and serve nutritious and delicious meals to students

* Maintain and stock kitchen supplies

* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and service areas

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS check - The Children's Barred List must be requested

* Previous experience in a restaurant, school, or catering environment is preferred.

* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

* Strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

* Basic culinary knowledge and skills
