Role-Quotations/Sales Engineer (Fabrications)

Location- Manchester

Hours- Mon - Fri

Salary - Negotiable up to £43k starting rate + Benefits

Office based Quotations/Sales/Account Engineer required for a fast-paced manufacturing company, estimating architectural metal work components and assemblies, materials and processes including turret punching, routing, Press Brake Forming, Welding, Assembly together with obtaining costs from sub-contract suppliers for finishing operations. Customer liaison regarding pricing / lead times and delivery schedules.

Main Responsibilities:

* Quoting metal work.

* Obtaining supplier quotations

* Prepare detailed quotes for submission to customers.

* Liaising with customers to attain their requirements.

* Liaising with production ref lead times/delivery schedule

* The candidate will be expected to follow up estimates, negotiate and secure orders.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

* Previous manufacturing estimation / costing experience essential.

* Exerience in the Fabrication/Sheet metal industry

* Excellent communication skills at all levels

* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills

* Computer literate, Microsoft office etc,

* Attention to detail a must
