Our client is looking for a highly motivated sales representative to cover the Birmingham and surrounding area.
Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for promoting sales of asphalt to a range of customers within this very demanding market.
Key tasks include:
* Develop long term relationships with new and existing customers.
* Ensure the highest level of customer service.
* Identify the customer’s needs and provide solutions.
* Protect and retain existing customer base, while proactively developing new sales
* Work toward agreed performance targets for volume, margin, and profitability.
* Strong commercial awareness combined with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
* Highly self motivated, well organised and have a strong determination to succeed.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and have the ability to work as an effective member of the Asphalt team.
* Knowledge of SAP/ CRM desirable
* Knowledge of regional Asphalt capabilities and regional Asphalt customer base desirable
* Previous sales experience desirable
* A strong work ethic and a team player mentality.
