Job Title: Python Developer

Remuneration: £550 - £600

Contract Length: 6 Months

Are you an experienced Python Developer looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client, a Central Government organisation, is seeking a talented Python Developer to join their team. If you have expertise in Python, Django, JavaScript, and data visualisation, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

Utilise your expertise in Python and Django to develop web-based mapping tools.
Build map visualisations using Leaflet (JavaScript) to enhance user experience.
Collaborate with the team to code both frontend and backend web applications.
Implement version control and collaborative coding practises using Azure DevOps.
Deploy web applications and create CI/CD pipelines using Azure cloud technologies.
Perform ETL processes and work with databases, including MS-SQL.
Integrate applications with various API's for seamless functionality.
Ensure web-based accessibility, security, and code testing standards are met.Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
Experience with JavaScript, Leaflet, HTML, and CSS.
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure cloud technologies.
Familiarity with MS-SQL and ETL processes.
Ability to integrate applications with API's.
Understanding of authentication and authorisation approaches using AAD.Desirable Skills:

Previous experience in training team members in Python and Django.
