Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £60,290 per annum 

Hours: 42 hours per week – 4x on 4x off alternating days and nights

Shifts: 1x week of days and then a week of nights

Orion is partnered with a well-established food manufacturing business located in London, which is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:

Diagnose and resolve automation, electrical, and mechanical issues during breakdowns.
Continuous improvement projects on site
Implement our engineering strategy with consistency and efficiency.
Deliver improvement projects on time and within budget.
Support site performance by focusing on KPIs such as OEE and CCOs.
Maintain high standards of safe working practices.
Provide training and coaching to operators and other engineersMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience:

Must have experience working within the FMCG industry
Must have experience working in food manufacturing
Strong communication skills.
Experience in training and coaching junior engineers
Enthusiastic and motivated, with a motivation for continuous improvement.
Time served apprentice with an Electrical bias, supported by suitable experience.
Alternatively, C&G 2346-03 Electro-technical Experienced worker qualification
HND/HNC Qualification
Electrical qualifications
