Role: Classroom Teaching Assistant

Start: ASAP Start

Location: SE6, South London

Contract: Full time

Rate: £90-110 per day

Remedy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Classroom Teaching Assistant work in a year 2 classroom, providing enriching support to young pupils. There will be two SEN children who are high functioning.

The Classroom Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.Classroom Teaching Requirements:

Previous child-based experience: A proven track record of working with children in an educational or supportive capacity.
An understanding of basic SEND principalities
DBS on the update service: A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service to ensure the safety and well-being of our students.
Passion for education: A genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the educational development and well-being of young individuals.Classroom Teaching Benefits:
