Typically, this person will perform high-quality welds on stainless steel components using Flux Core MIG processes, ensuring all work meets the rigorous standards of the oil and gas industry. They will interpret and follow complex technical drawings and welding procedures, maintaining accuracy and consistency in their work. The welder will also inspect materials and completed welds for defects, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality. troubleshooting of welding equipment will also be part of their responsibilities.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mig Welder

* Performing Flux Core Mig welding on stainless steel components, ensuring high-quality, defect-free welds that meet industry standards.

* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding procedures to accurately execute welds according to project specifications.

* Inspecting materials and completed welds for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality.

* Maintaining and troubleshooting welding equipment, ensuring all tools are in proper working condition and performing routine maintenance as required.

* Adhering to strict safety protocols and industry regulations, contributing to a safe work environment.

Qualifications and requirement for the Mig Welder:

* Certified Welder with specific certification in Flux Core MIG welding and stainless steel

* Proven experience in the oil and gas or industrial projects, with a strong track record of welding on stainless steel components.

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding procedures, with the ability to execute precise welds accordingly.

* In-depth knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting of welding tools.

* Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in welding, particularly in high-stakes environments like oil and gas.
