Our client is an award-winning commercial vehicle repair bodyshop. Working with all the major UK insurers and numerous blue chip businesses, the company is growing rapidly and looking to expand their team.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic people to join the organisation and drive that growth forward.
We are looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor for the HGV repair site in Hoddesdon.
Ideally you will be ATA qualified and looking to take the next step in your career. There will be opportunities to move forward in the role as the company and department expand.
The team work hard in a very fast paced industry to make sure that the customer is always happy with the repairs to their vehicle. It is a fun and friendly team who work closely to ensure that the jobs are carried out thoroughly.
The Role
* Carry out computerised estimates using Audatex
* Communicate with customers to provide repair information and an indication of completion time
* Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation
* Record all estimate / repair information on in house system
* Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process
* Negotiate estimates with the Suppliers Engineer when required
* To identify opportunities for non-insurance related repairs
* Answering all Estimation incoming calls
* Check for authorisations daily
* To maintain and secure allocated equipment
* To assist other team members as and when required
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications and experience;
Proven experience or knowledge of working in the automotive repair industry
* ATA Accredited (preferred but not essential)
* Customer service skills – experience of delivery high quality service to customers
* Planning and organisational skills
* Flexibility and adaptability managing workflow
* Valid driving licence
Salary £37,000 to £42,000 depending on experience
Location Hoddesdon EN11
Hours 7am to 4pm but negotiable 8am start
