Senior IT/Network Manager

About the Role:

As an IT Technician, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of all technology services across the school. From managing network systems and troubleshooting hardware/software issues to supporting staff and students, you'll ensure that our IT systems are running efficiently and effectively. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of technologies and make a real difference in the daily learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively.

Manage and maintain the school's hardware, software, and network systems.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot various educational technologies and equipment.

Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Ensure the security of IT systems and data through regular updates and backups.

Collaborate with the teaching staff to integrate technology into classroom activities.

Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system monitoring.

Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.

Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, along with common software applications.

Familiarity with network infrastructure, firewalls, and wireless networks.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external suppliers.

A positive attitude, a proactive approach, and a passion for supporting education through technology.
