ASD Teaching Assistants for SEND School

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs? Are you experienced in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistants to join an SEND school. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the educational and personal development of children aged 11-19 years old with an ASD diagnosis and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and group support to students with ASD in an educational setting.
Assist the class teacher in implementing individualised learning plans tailored to each student's needs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Promote social and emotional development, as well as independent living skills.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic development of students.Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children or adults with additional needs.
Candidates without a Teaching Assistant (or equivalent) qualification will be considered if they have significant experience in a similar role.
Genuine passion for supporting individuals with SEND.
Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of students.
