Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Associate Structural Engineer based in Nottingham looking for an opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic team on a diverse range of projects?

The Role/Company

The company are a well-established design consultancy working on a variety of projects across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, leisure, retail, industrial and residential.

As an Associate Structural Engineer, you will lead projects from inception to completion, managing teams, client relationships, and technical deliverables. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our designs are not only robust and innovative but also aligned with our clients' needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget
Oversee design, analysis, and detailing of various structural systems using appropriate materials
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and clients
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to their development
Conduct site inspections, assess structural integrity, and address on-site issues
Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation
Stay updated on relevant codes, standards, and advancements in structural engineering
Requirements

BEng/MSc/MEng (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering 2:1 or above
Member of ICE/IStructE working towards chartered status
Minimum of 10 years UK design experience
Sound technical skills and willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills
Software experience in Tekla, TEDDS would be desirable.
