We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adult Safeguarding Social Worker to join our dedicated team at the London Borough of Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and contribute to a strong safeguarding culture.

About the Role:

As an Adult Safeguarding Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

* Undertaking complex safeguarding assessments of vulnerable adults

* Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans

* Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure the safety and well-being of adults at risk

* Providing support and guidance to carers and family members

* Attending safeguarding meetings and reviews

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, MSW)

* Significant experience in adult safeguarding

* A strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and procedures

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team

* A commitment to safeguarding vulnerable adults
