We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a leading, multinational, multidisciplinary Consultancy to join their team based out of either Exeter or Plymouth.

The company you will be an integral part of is a world leading multidisciplinary infrastructure Consultancy providing professional services to an array of projects throughout the project lifecycle. They are very much a leader within the building services sector with most of the work being within the defence sector, or large complex schemes.

Main Responsibilities of the role but not limited to:

* Represent the business on MEP projects across the Southwest / South Wales

* Manage engineers of a complementary discipline

* Complete detailed designs and supervise the work of others

* Demonstrate attention to detail and pride in work produced

* Inspire confidence in team members and strengthen team-client relationships

* Manage time on projects to suit deadlines

What you’ll need to demonstrate on your application:

* The ideal candidate will have solid experience in design capacity, good working knowledge of building services installations, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Key requirements include relevant experience in design and delivery of projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire confidence in team members.

* Relevant degree in electrical engineering

* Preferred qualifications include a qualified Engineer with a proven track record, a CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree, and IEng or CEng status
