A fantastic, growing specialist digital agency with a particular focus on membership organisations and large enterprises, is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior BDM to join their dynamic and successful team in Central Leeds.
Our client is an award-winning Digital Agency with 5 offices across 4 countries that use the very best technologies in order to deliver innovations to their enterprise-level clients. You will be joining a team of experts working with world leading brands.
Responsibilities:
As Business Development Manager, you’ll create, own and deliver a fresh digital marketing and business plan for both new and existing clients. With a strong background in business development, you will assist on pitches to acquire new clients supported by a small, but perfectly formed senior management and client service team. Once converted you’ll work with the Account Director to nurture these key accounts and seek out further new opportunities with a proactive, positive growth mind set.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Identifying, nurturing and developing opportunities for new business
* When developing opportunities, utilise insight from performance of websites and digital marketing technologies to provide initial recommendations and improvements.
* Writing proposals, pitches and tender documents and presenting to senior client stakeholders at board level
* Ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts by building great relationships and identifying new opportunities within them.
* Understanding, gathering and documenting clients’ digital project requirements
* Stay abreast of digital projects to further expand the portfolio on offer to prospective clients
The successful candidate will have around 5 years’ experience as a business development professional, with first rate rapport building talents and a proven track record of winning new business as well as experience working in a digital agency or similar marketing related service. They will have a solid history of meeting and exceeding sales targets with enterprise level clients and leading digital initiatives such as complex website builds and content management solutions, whilst delivering projects that exceed KPIs and delight their customer base. A strong understanding of digital marketing is essential, as well as an understanding of the latest applicable digital trends and enterprise web technologies such as CRM integration and headless CMS.
