HGV Class 1 Driver

Salary - £19.00 - £21.00 PER HOUR Paye & Ltd

ONGOING ROLE NIGHTS

Shift pattern/nights worked – Monday - Friday.

We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 night driver for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing night shifts.

The role is HGV Class 1 Night driver trunking a double decker to The Pallet Network

Key tasks:

* HGV 1 Night trunking to The Pallet Network

* Nights 19.30 start times

* Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations

* Load and unload palletised goods

* Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

* Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries

Requirements:

* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 2 years minimum experience

* Proven experience as a truck driver with multi drop experience of palletised goods

* Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers

* Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

* Strong communication and customer service skills
