What You'll learn to do – Day-to-Day Activities:

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, no two days will be the same.

Sourcing Talent:

Use multiple platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, databases) to search for and identify top IT professionals.

Write and post compelling job adverts to attract candidates.

Screen applications and resumes to match candidates to suitable roles.

Conducting Interviews:

Conduct telephone and video interviews with candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and career goals.

Provide feedback, support, and coaching to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Building Relationships:

Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients and candidates alike.

Gain a deep understanding of your clients' needs, helping them fill their vacancies with top talent.

Offer career advice and guidance to candidates, ensuring they find the best fit for their skillset.

Networking and Lead Generation:

Proactively contact potential new clients to introduce IT Talent Solutions and explore their hiring needs.

Attend networking events and keep a pulse on the IT industry to stay informed about new opportunities and trends.

Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for both current and future roles.

Sales and Target Setting:

Work closely with the sales team, driving activity to meet individual and team targets.

Track your performance metrics, learn from your results, and continually aim to exceed your targets.

Participate in daily/weekly team meetings, sharing updates and success stories.

Negotiation and Offer Management:

Liaise between clients and candidates to negotiate job offers, salaries, and contract details.

Handle the end-to-end offer process, ensuring smooth transitions for both the candidate and the client.
