We are working with an established distribution company based in Heywood. They are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a continental shift pattern in return for a salary in the region of £46,000 - £49,900 along with overtime opportunity and additional training and development.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability

* Support the maintenance and wider team in working together to solve problems to keep our facility moving

* Approximately 20% of the time you will be working in a cold environment – approximately minus 18 degrees – just like working in the freezer; but we provide full PPE including coats ,hats and boots

* At times work at height using safety harness

Qualifications & Experience required:

* Qualified NVQ level 3 or apprenticeship equivalent with electrical & mechanical experience

* Extensive knowledge and experience in the field of mechanics, electrical engineering and control engineering

* Knowledge of and experience with PLC and PC controlled fully automatic logistic transport systems

This position is commutable from; Bury, Hopwood, Pimhole, Redvales, Sudden, Bamford
