Warehouse Technician - Insch

£30 – £35k doe

Our client, an offshore solutions company based in the Inverurie area, is looking to hire a new Warehouse Technician to their growing team.

The successful candidate will be required to hold a driving license, a B3 counterbalance license, and experience working in a workshop, ideally with lifting equipment and accessories. In return, candidates can expect a very competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth in the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Receive and Process Incoming Goods:ec Follow procedures for loading, unloading, and storing items, keeping storage areas neat, organized, and safe.

 Verify Deliveries: Ensure quantities match certification and delivery notes.

 Record and Track Inventory: Accurately log stock levels and goods received, and deduct stock from completed work orders on time.

 Handle Customer Property: Check against delivery notes, store securely, and ensure items are accessible and properly identified.

 Dispatch Items: Deliver stock to workshops and other departments as needed.

 Coordinate with Stakeholders: Communicate with customer and vendor representatives on incoming and outgoing goods, and work with Purchasing or Account Coordinators on any discrepancies.

 Manage Rejected Goods: Document and quarantine rejected items, notifying Purchasing or the Key Account Coordinator as needed.

 Ensure Safety and Compliance: Perform all tasks safely, following company procedures.

 Collaborate Across Departments: Support work order completion by coordinating with other teams.

 Adapt to Business Needs: Take on additional tasks as necessary, with appropriate training and supervision.

Succesful Candidate will have:

 Forklift Certification: Holds RTITB certification for counterbalance forklifts up to 18 tons.

 Additional Equipment: Skilled in operating Combi-lift side-loader, electric reach truck (2.5 tons), and VNA.

 Teamwork and Communication: Strong communication skills, effective team player, and able to work independently.

 Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other word processing tools.

 Attention to Detail: High standards with strong attention to detail.

 Numeracy and Literacy: Competent in both.
