An outstanding flooring subcontractor in Bedford has an opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

The role – Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be office based in Bedford, with site visits, and will look after several commercial contracts with values ranging from £50,000 – £1m.

Main responsibilities:

* Putting together monthly valuations

* Costing contract variations,

* Monitoring material and labour expenditure

* Assisting with commercially running the schemes.

The right person: Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

* You will be an Assistant with 2 years plus experience

* You will have worked for a flooring subcontractor or a main contractor or fit out company where flooring has been part of your package.

* You will be self-motivated and proactive.

Working hours 8.30-5pm
