Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Kirkland Associates are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Ripley, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer with a background within a fast paced manufacturing environment.

c.a. 45k salary
Overtime available
3 shift rotation 06:00-14:05, 14:00-22:15 & 22:00-06:15

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - The Role:

Working within a team of 3 to reduce breakdowns & repairs to achieve production targets
Ensuring safe operation of machinery
Improving site facilities
Support & contribute to continuous improvement projects to order and install new equipment
Maintain CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)  
Mechancial Maintenance Engineer - The Candidate:

Time served (apprenticeship) electrical/mechanical maintenance Engineer
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a process-oriented environment
Root cause analysis and fault finding experience
Continuous Improvement and proactive approach to working
Good communication and interpersonal skills
