£21 PER HOUR PLUS OVERTIME

FULL TIME 50 HOUR WEEK

Overall Job Purpose:

As Plant Fitter you are responsible for all plant maintenance and repairs along with the completion of all relevant paperwork. It is your duty to ensure all equipment is in good working order by performing regular safety checks. You will ensure all necessary equipment and parts are ordered and are available when required. You will be based in the yard and off site in equal amounts of time.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare and assist with the loading and unloading of plant and equipment
Ensure plant maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the defect tracker sheet
Servicing of machines when their set operating hours have been met
Assist with any maintenance and repair requirements that occur on site
Perform machine safety checks to ensure full working order
Submit sign off sheet to the Yard Manager upon completion of any repairs
Take photos of damaged plant received and submit to the Yard Manager
Ensure all necessary parts are ordered as required through supplier or Yard Manager
Ensure every machine is in the best possible condition to send out to site to ensure the Company is reflected in a positive lightGeneral Company Responsibilities and Duties:

Crane Supervisor
Passport to Safety
Slinger Signaller
Banksman
