Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Project Estimator/Procurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, from initial estimation to procurement and project completion. You will work closely with our design and project management teams to provide accurate cost estimates and effective procurement strategies across a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

* Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, for a diverse range of projects across various sectors.

* Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies that ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services required for projects.

* Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating terms and prices to optimize project outcomes.

* Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, providing regular updates and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.

* Collaboration: Work closely with design and project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of projects.

* Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates and procurement plans, providing proactive solutions to mitigate risks.

* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to inform cost estimation and procurement strategies.

* Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of cost estimates, procurement activities, and supplier agreements for future reference and analysis.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience: Proven experience as a Project Estimator/Procurement Specialist in a similar industry, with a strong understanding of design and build, interior design, and specialist catering design.

* Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide variety of sectors, including hospitality, commercial kitchens, workspaces, stadia, hotels, retail, education, healthcare, coffee shops, and garden centres.

* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

* Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.

* Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software and tools for cost estimation and procurement management.
