SEMH Teacher
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a trained teacher for an excellent SEMH Secondary School based in Blackburn.
The school works with Secondary students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties. It boasts an extremely supportive and nurturing environment to help students reach their full potential.
The schools students often require support to build trusting relationships with professionals and you will have high expectations and a belief that they can succeed. You will be someone who can think outside the box with creative lessons for our onsite and offsite students, as well as bring a unique element to the team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
Ensuring that the teaching area is organised appropriately to provide a safe, tidy, pleasant and stimulating environment.
Planning and delivering an appropriate curriculum based on individual needs having due regard to pupil entitlement.
Teaching a range of subjects at different levels across the key stages.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with families/carers.

QTS/PGCE
Minimum 1 year Teaching experience in the UK
Experience working with SEN (advantageous)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
