Job Title: Firestoppers

Location: Leicester

Start Date: Immediate- starting Monday 8th July

Ongoing work- Monday- Friday 7:30- 4:30.

Job Description:

As a Firestopper, you will play a critical role in our project, focusing on Batt and Mastic work to ensure fire safety compliance. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire-resistant systems and materials, ensuring the safety and integrity of the building, which will be a police station.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing Batt and Mastic firestopping work to the highest standards.
Installing fire-resistant materials and systems in accordance with project specifications.
Ensuring all work complies with fire safety regulations and building codes.
Inspecting and maintaining firestopping systems.
Collaborating with project managers and other tradesmen to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Firestopper, particularly with Batt and Mastic applications.
Level 2 qualification in Firestopping.
Blue CSCS card.
Own tools and equipment.
Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and building codes.
Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
