Zenith People are working with our client who operate within the Renewable Energy Sector. Due to expansion, they are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Project Engineer/Manager on a permanent basis.
Main Duties & Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Lead and manage renewable energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support in the design, development, and implementation of renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, and other sustainable technologies.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and maintain strong relationships.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of project delivery.
* Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and financial accountability.
* Reporting: Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, financial status, and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
* Education: Degree or equivalent in Renewable Energy, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project engineering/management, preferably with a focus on renewable energy projects.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in renewable energy technologies, project management software, and engineering design tools.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
* Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
