SEN Tutors Needed – Nottinghamshire (Term-Time, 1:1 Support)

Location: Various towns across Nottinghamshire (in students' homes or public spaces)
Hours: 10–30 hours per week (Term-time only, Mon–Fri)
Rate: £28-30 per hour

About Catch Up Academy:
Catch Up Academy partners with Nottinghamshire County Council under the Alternative Provision agreement, delivering 1:1 tutoring for students with Special Educational Needs. Our focus is on flexible, tailored support to help learners thrive outside traditional school settings.

The Role:
We are looking for experienced SEN Tutors to provide term-time-only support (Monday–Friday, no school holidays or weekends). Sessions take place in students' homes or public spaces (e.g., libraries) across Nottinghamshire.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

* Proven experience supporting children/young people with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH).

* A teaching qualification (desirable) OR substantial tutoring/mentoring experience.

* Minimum undergraduate-level qualification.

* Patience, adaptability, and the ability to engage students with diverse needs.

Requirements:

* Must be based in the UK with experience in British education/SEN settings.

* Willingness to travel within Nottinghamshire (please specify which towns you can cover).

* Availability during term-time weekdays (school hours or after school).
