A kind, compassionate nature is key, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team and take initiative. Strong communication, patience, and listening skills are essential. Why Join Us?
By joining Us, you’ll become part of an organization built on strong values and a supportive culture, committed to the safety and wellbeing of both residents and employees. You will collaborate with a motivated, caring team in a positive environment. This is a rewarding role where you’ll leave each day knowing you’ve made a meaningful impact on the lives of older people.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
• 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with the option to purchase additional leave

• Access to chaplaincy and pastoral support
• Wellbeing resources
• Recommend a friend bonus
• Family-friendly policies
• Long service awards
• Free uniform and DBS check
• Cycle2Work salary sacrifice scheme
• Competitive healthcare scheme

Core Responsibilities:
• Act as a key worker for a group of residents under the supervision of senior staff, assisting with resident admissions
• Contribute to the development and review of individual care plans, including for residents with dementia
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and choices
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, aiming to enhance residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing
• Engage in social care activities with residents throughout the day (and night when necessary)

• Attend and participate in resident review meetings
• Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess situations, and take appropriate action
• Assist in the induction of new staff
• Help residents with personal hygiene, mobility issues, and the use of assistive equipment
