Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 teacher for a maternity cover for the rest of the academic year.

Location: Yardley, Birmingham
Position: Year 5 Teacher
Start: ASAP
Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8:20 AM - 4 PM (Mon-Fri, Term Time)
Pay: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging Year 5 lessons and support all student's progress.
· Track and assess student development, providing support where needed.
· Maintain a positive classroom environment.
· Collaborate with staff for consistent teaching standards.
· Build relationships with parents for effective communication.
Lesson Planning, preparing lessons
To undertake role as Class Teacher, will have PPA with year group and expected to stay for staff meetings

Requirements:
· QTS and experience in a teaching role.
· Up-to-date Safeguarding training (we can provide this for you).
· Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check.
Must have strong behavioural management, and a empathetic nature for children who need to be nurtured
· Two professional child-related references.

As the current teacher leaves for maternity mid-march, the school are looking for someone to begin the role asap so there will be a two or three week handover to support the transition.
