Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a hardworking, flexible and reliable Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant (SEND TA), to work within an inclusive and supportive ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated mainstream Primary School in Tonbridge. This wonderful full-time opportunity is to start ASAP on a long-term basis.
This delightful Primary School has provision for every kind of frequently occurring special educational need, such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, speech and language needs, autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural difficulties.
You will work alongside dedicated staff to support children with special educational needs in different key stages across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and/or small group support to reinforce learning expectations
* Offer personalised assistance to students with a variety of SEND
* Help provide a safe, stimulating and structured environment
* Support students in managing their behaviour and regulating their emotions following the school behaviour policy
* Maintain clear and professional communication with other colleagues, professionals and parents/carers regarding student progress, well-being and any arising issues
* Assist in preparing teaching materials and classroom resources
* Keep accurate records of student activities, progress and behaviour
Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
* Experience working with children with SEND within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 3 months of experience)
* Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
* You can demonstrate a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with children
* You have excellent communication and teamwork skills
* You are committed to creating a supportive learning environment
