Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Neuro Rehabilitation

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for Neuro Rehabilitation? Our client is seeking a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team to provide exceptional care to patients with acquired neurological conditions and disabilities.

Role overview:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-standard Occupational Therapy assessments, treatments, and advice across multiple pathways, including acute neurorehabilitation, neurobehavioral management, complex care, and assisted independent living. This role requires a commitment to patient-centered care, collaborating closely with a team of professionals to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Assessment of patients’ needs and strengths; including the use of formal and informal measures where appropriate; and provision of risk assessments.
Utilising assessment results to development care plans, management strategies, clinical goals, and evidence-based therapy plans, which are then clearly recorded and communicated.
Monitor, evaluate, and modify treatment plans to ensure effectiveness using outcome measures.
Manage a caseload independently with supervision from the Lead OT.Qualifications and skills:

HCPC registered
Qualified in Occupational Therapy and registered with the RCOT
Evidence of CPD 
2 years experience in relevant health or social care setting
Experience in neurology, specialist rehab, and/or complex care
