Finance Manager (Controllership)
The Opportunity:
The role will see you join our client’s Finance Controllership team to add real value over the next 6 months working as a Finance Manager, reporting to the Director of Controllership.
This role will have accountability for multiple delivery objectives across the financial function (Reporting, Tax, Audits, Process Governance, process Improvement) for 4 departments across the UK.
It is essential that all candidates have business partnering experience with Senior Stakeholders previously with a solid background in Taxation at global pharmaceutical or similar highly regulated industry.
Skills and Experience:
* BA or BSc degree in Business or Accounting, preferably with a professional accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent )
* Minimum 5 years commercial financial experience across all areas of Finance in particular, Controllership, FSS, Tax & Treasury
* Tax: PAYE, SAO Controls and VAT matters for the preparation of quarterly and yearly
* A good knowledge of Oracle or equivalent ERP system and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Advanced Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills).
* Background in supporting the preparation of statutory reporting an internal/ external Audits
* S/4 Hanna experience would be a distinct advantage
* Strong pharmaceutical background is preferred with regulatory knowledge
