Description
Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and necessary repairs.
Maintain machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Respond to emergency call-outs to repair critical machinery.
Work in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with the engineering team to implement new machinery installations.
Document maintenance schedules and machinery performance.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.Profile
The successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
Worked in a similar manufacturing role previously.
Ideally a 50:50 mechanical/electrical bias.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic equipment for repairs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies quickly.
A relevant engineering qualification.Job Offer
An attractive hourly rate of £20 - 30 (inside IR35)
Days based - 8.30am - 4.30pm
