We’re working with a Principal Contractor in the Energy sector seeking a Head of HSE to drive safety excellence across multiple frameworks. This is a key leadership role, overseeing a team of SHE Advisors across the UK while reporting directly to the SHEQ Director.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Provide expert HSE input into tenders and contracts

* Lead and support a team of SHE Advisors across the UK

* Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives to meet net-zero targets

* Investigate incidents, establish root causes, and implement improvements

* Challenge and enhance existing safety practices in design and construction

* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and provide guidance to project teams

What We’re Looking For

* Proven HSE leadership experience in a highly regulated industry (Gas, Rail, Power)

* Diploma (or equivalent) in Health & Safety or significant experience in Utilities

* CMIOSH (or working towards it)

* Full UK driving license (UK-wide travel required)
