An assistant services manager role has become available in a leading provider of building services, offering cutting-edge mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) solutions. As a business they deliver projects that meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Are you a driven and motivated individual, ideally with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Services. My client is looking for an individual to support the senior management team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at an apprentice or assistant level to step into the fast-paced world of MEP and main contracting, working closely with senior managers to ensure the smooth delivery of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist senior services managers in overseeing MEP and building services projects.
* Coordinate with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Support in project planning, management, and reporting.
* Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
* Aid in the management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring project objectives are met.
* Contribute to the development of strategies to improve project efficiency and service delivery.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a HND in Building Services or a related field.
* Based in or willing to relocate to Manchester.
* Previous experience with main contracting or MEP contracting (preferable but not essential).
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a growing company.
