Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer – Operational Engineering

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal or Associate Mechanical Engineer. You will collaborate with the team to meet client needs, develop reports and specifications, and oversee testing and commissioning. This role involves working closely with clients, ensuring high-quality service and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical advice on mechanical/electrical services in existing buildings

*

Lead refurbishment and upgrade projects from start to finish

*

Conduct condition surveys and produce reports

*

Deliver mechanical designs and specifications to meet quality standards

*

Lead mechanical services design on large projects, and overall MEP on smaller projects

*

Manage project teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure technical accuracy

What We’re Looking For:

*

Strong technical knowledge in Mechanical Design Engineering

*

Experience in building services, including surveys, site inspections, and commissioning

*

Ability to manage projects through all RIBA stages

*

Consultancy experience, with good client-facing skills

*

Chartered engineer or close to obtaining chartered status
