Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Perform bank and account reconciliations.
Support the accounts payable and receivable functions.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis and report findings to senior management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Support internal and external audits.
Participate in process improvement initiatives.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is preferred.
Strong analytically and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
