Job Title: Junior Electrical Estimator (Transition from Electrician)
Location: Gravesend, Kent close to London, City of London, Essex, Brentwood and Dartford
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Our client, a well-established and reputable company based in Gravesend, Kent, is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their team as an Electrical Estimator. This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to grow their career, step into a more office-based role, and gain valuable experience in estimating within the electrical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the senior estimating team to learn the ropes of electrical estimation.
* Assist with preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical projects.
* Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation.
* Develop detailed costings for both commercial and residential electrical projects.
* Work alongside project managers to ensure all estimations align with project requirements.
* Gradually move away from hands-on electrical work and gain deeper insight into project budgeting, tendering, and cost management.
Requirements:
* Qualified Electrician (18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
* Experience working in the electrical industry.
* A desire to transition into electrical estimating and a keen interest in learning the role.
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyse technical documents.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Previous estimating experience is a plus but not essential, as full training will be provided.
