Boyd Recruitment are currently working alongside an M&E Contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager based in Glasgow. 

Our client is an established M&E contractor who is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team due to consistent success and growth within the business.

The Role. 

1. Finance and Accounting

Overall responsibility for production of: -

· Statutory accounts for audit

· Monthly management accounts with comparison against budget

· Annual budgets and ongoing forecasts

· Cash flow management, forecasting and reporting

2. Management.

· Act as Company Secretary for all companies in the Groups and attend and participate in Quarterly Board Meetings.

· In conjunction with the Directors and Management of each company, agree on objectives and strategy for each business unit. Attend weekly/monthly management review meetings.

3. Coordinate information, documentation, and accounting for Staff Pension Schemes and act as Trustee.

4. Preparation of all tax, VAT, cis returns to HMRC.

5. Ensure the availability of finance facilities for the Group and maintain relationships with Bank personnel.

6. Salaries – preparation of monthly salary payments and co-ordinate annual review of salaries and bonus.

The Candidate

· Relevant post-qualified experience gained in a similar role would be advantageous.

· Experience as a Financial Controller or in a leadership role where you have had full accountability for a P&L.

· Business Partnering and commercial mindset, credible at Board Level.

· Ability to Troubleshoot.

· Strong influencing skills and adapt to working in a challenging environment.

· Prior experience in a Group structure, or asset-based business is desirable.

Salary and benefits include:

• Holiday Entitlement: 30 days (holiday required to be held back for Christmas shutdown 10 days

• Pension

Working Hours and Location: 8:00 – 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday – Friday 8 till 3.30pm
