Water Treatment Engineer

Benefits: up to £32,000 / 40 hour week / 8am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch included  / 22 + 8 days holiday / Overtime / Travel- 30mins either side / 1 in 4/6 on call / Private Medical / Death in service / Pension

We are an international facilities management company with over 100 years’ experience in the industry, currently employing over 4000 engineers.  We work closely with many industries such as government, healthcare, education, retail and the aviation industry.  Our services in the hard sector include, Electrical and mechanical maintenance, building services, fire safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine Legionella monitoring including temperature checks, tank inspections, and flushing regimes
Conduct water sampling and assist with chemical dosing as required
Assist in the maintenance of water systems including calorifiers, water tanks, TMVs, and closed systems
Complete accurate records, logbooks, and reports to ensure compliance with industry regulations
Liaise with clients and site teams to ensure minimal disruption and high service standards
Support engineers and wider FM team in delivering additional building services tasks where required  Requirements:

Previous experience in a water hygiene or water technician role (within FM preferred)
Understanding of Legionella compliance, L8 regulations, and water safety standards
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Good communication and customer service skills
