About the Role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Afterschool Club Assistant to join our nursery and primary school team. Our Afterschool Club provides children with a fun and engaging environment after school, offering a healthy snack and a variety of activities in a safe and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome children and families as they arrive at the club.
Prepare and serve nutritious snacks, catering to dietary needs and preferences.
Supervise and engage children in play, creative activities, and group games.
Ensure the club area is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Support children’s well-being, promoting positive social interactions and a relaxing environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:

Have experience working with children, preferably in a nursery, school, or childcare setting.
Be warm, approachable, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development.
Understand basic food hygiene and health and safety requirements (training can be provided).
Be a team player, adaptable, and reliable.
Hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo one.
