Our St Ives based client is a family ran business. They have a warm environment where everyone works as a team. They are seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety and Compliance Officer who is passionate to grow and develop their skill set with the company and be committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all their employees.

The key responsibilities for the Warehouse Health & Safety Officer:

* Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices.

* Performance monitoring and compliance.

* Collating statistical information for health and safety management.

* Evidence compliance within auditing.

* Undertake inspections on site and working at heights.

* Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets.

* Development of a robust management system and assisting the directors finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward and supporting the Senior Staff to Lead the H&S initiatives.

Skills required for the Warehouse Health & Safety Officer:

* Some experience or formal qualifications within Health & Safety.

* Keen to learn, willing to ask questions, conscientious and motivated.

* Team player, great communication skills.

* Calm under pressure in a busy environment.

* Working knowledge of a warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Working hours for the Warehouse Health & Safety Officer:

Monday to Friday 37 hour per week.
