Paid to Scale – £120 to £250 per day

Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Secondary School in East Grinstead who are looking to recruit a Science  Teacher. You will be teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school.

The Position based in East Grinstead, is a full time, long term contract. The right candidate plays a key role in inspiring students through engaging lessons. They follow the UK national curriculum, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By nurturing curiosity, they prepare students for academic success.

The ideal candidate will:

Strong knowledge of the Science Curriculum
Relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS(Desirable)
Experience delivering the UK national curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to engage students of varying abilities

Current valid DBS (On the update Service) or the willingness to obtain one
Creative teaching approach, encouraging hands-on learning
