Recoveries Handler - Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

This company is a leading provider of insurance solutions in the UK. They are looking for a Recoveries Handler to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company that values its employees and offers excellent career progression.

The Role:
The Recoveries Handler will be responsible for negotiating hire charges and repair costs with Third Party Insurers/solicitors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for settling recovery/storage, credit repairs and uninsured losses, reviewing liability, and litigating on files where necessary. This role requires an experienced user of MS Office applications, Excel and Word particularly. The candidate must be able to work independently and as a team member, have good organisational skills, and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities of the Recoveries Handler:
- Negotiating hire charges and repair costs with Third Party Insurers/solicitors
- Settling recovery/storage, credit repairs and uninsured losses
- Reviewing liability
- Litigating on files where necessary
- Working independently and as a team member

Required knowledge and experience for the Recoveries Handler role:
- Credit Hire Knowledge/GTA ABI knowledge
- Litigation experience
- Proclaim experience would be an advantage
- MS Office experience
- Regulatory Knowledge: FCA, Complaints procedure
- Personal Attributes: Communication skills, Time keeping, honest, reliable, flexible, work ethic, determined.
