Job Advert: Health and Safety Advisor (5-Day Contract)

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Health and Safety Advisor for a 5-day contract starting next week in Bristol. This project involves overseeing the safe installation of emergency stop buttons on pre-existing conveyor belts in a manufacturing environment. The role is critical to ensuring safety compliance and minimizing any risks during the installation process.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure all works are conducted in line with health and safety regulations.

* Oversee the installation of emergency stop buttons on conveyor systems.

* Conduct on-site risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).

* Monitor contractor compliance and ensure CSCS card requirements are adhered to.

* Provide daily reports on health and safety matters.

* Address any health and safety concerns that may arise during the project.

Key Requirements:

* Valid CSCS card (required)

* NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (essential)

* Previous experience with conveyor belt safety or similar installations is highly desirable.

* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and standards.

* Excellent communication skills to liaise with on-site teams and project managers.
