Pay Rate: £24.28 per hour
Hours: 35 per week (08:00 - 16:30)
Contract: 17 March 2025 - 14 September 2025

Greenwich Council is seeking a Pest Control Officer to join their team, ensuring the effective delivery of pest control services across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct property surveys to identify pest infestations and determine treatment plans
Carry out pest control treatments, including baiting, poisoning, and trapping
Work closely with the repairs team to manage pest control activities efficiently
Collect and process payments for pest control services in accordance with council procedures
Implement pest-proofing measures, including the removal of rodent and bird faecal matter
Transport and dispose of contaminated materials as requiredEssential Requirements:

Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control (Royal Society of Public Health or equivalent)
Full UK manual driving license (license checks will be conducted)
