About the role of a Maths Teacher:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing student's mathematical skills, analytical abilities, and confidence in tackling complex problems. This role offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially A-level, inspiring curiosity and enjoyment in mathematics.
Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching engaging and dynamic maths lessons that cater to a diverse range of students, sparking interest and enthusiasm for the subject
Planning and delivering the curriculum with an emphasis on mastery, problem-solving, and critical thinking
Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students reach their full potential
Collaborating with the Maths Department to share resources and best practices, creating a vibrant and supportive environment for both students and staffWhat we're looking for:
A qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
A strong passion for mathematics, coupled with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engagingly
Experience or a willingness to teach across various levels, from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE
