Role Overview
The Maintenance Engineer will join the Engineering team of a leading Fresh Produce group. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth flow and maintenance of critical operational machinery. Based at a state-of-the-art packing facility, the Maintenance Engineer will work as part of the team on a shift basis to ensure that each production run operates smoothly, efficiently, and at maximum output.
Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring checks
* Minimise downtime by effectively managing the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP)
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements through a program of statutory inspections
* Ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety standards, company policies, engineering legislation, and relevant codes of practice
Maintenance Engineer Key Requirements
* Hands-on experience in engineering maintenance in a factory / packhouse production environment
* Strong understanding of production machinery, equipment, and systems
* Ability to drive performance and contribute as a positive team member
* Proactive mindset to maintenance and a keen eye for detail
* A solid understanding of Health & Safety protocol, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
