Our client, a powerhouse in the manufacturing industry and part of a leading multinational group, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, you'll be part of a well-structured maintenance team where you're always busy but never overwhelmed.

Salary: £43,000
Hours: Monday – Friday. 8am – 5pm
Location: Moulton, Cheshire

Your mission as a Maintenance Engineer

* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation

* Respond to machine breakdowns quickly, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime

* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards

* Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

* Monitor machine performance, suggesting and implementing upgrades or adjustments where necessary

* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and equipment

* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, providing technical support during the setup process

The Must-Have Skills for This Role

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering

* Experience in a High-Volume Manufacturing Environment

* Expertise in Fault Diagnosis
