Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Site Engineer in Gloucester for a long-term, Civil Engineering project.

Our client, a highly regarded Civil Engineering contractor has built its reputation on delivering large-scale groundworks projects and requires a Site Engineer with experience in a similar position.

As a Site Engineer you will:

* Have experience in Civil Engineering, groundworks, and earthworks projects

* Be the main source of technical advice and quality control.

* Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations.

* Comply with Site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

* Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations.

* A good understating of construction health & safety protocols.

* Excellent communication skills.

* HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

* Understanding of AutoCAD

Salary and benefits include:

* £300 - £350 per day (CIS/Umbrella)
